Master of Science in Entertainment Innovation: Novel approach to education in Thailand
Organized in early October, the EIC Fall 2020 Open House excited the Thai education sector with the introduction of a new graduate program that combines science and art for education in the entertainment industry. Offered by the Entertainment Innovation Center (EIC), the international program aims to put Thai entertainment in a leading position on the global stage.
The Master of Science in Entertainment Innovation (MSEI) is an international EIC program offered by CMKL University, a leading university in Thailand established through collaboration with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) and an official partner of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), a world-renowned university in the US known for its programs in computer science as well as arts and design. EIC offers a great option for students who want to explore new technologies and innovations for work in entertainment with a program taught by experienced professionals in the industry and supervision by a team of consultants from Carnegie Mellon University. With this program, students learn from experts on national and international levels and will enjoy opportunities to develop real projects with leading organizations and companies.
Scholarships worth over 10 million baht in total are available for the first batch of students through a review of the applicants’ profiles and previous works. Those already having a personal project, such as a start-up, a mobile application or an innovation in development, will receive special consideration.
